Ingredients:
- 1 very ripe organic peach, or nectarine unpeeled
- ¼ cup (60 ml) unsweetened peach juice (100% pure, additive-free, preferably organic) or filtered water
- ½ cup (125 ml) organic plain full fat yoghurt (gelatine-free)
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) oat bran
- 2 tsps (10 ml) concentrated low-lactose whey powder (or plain, unsweetened)
- a little raw honey or xylitol to sweeten, if using water
Method:
- Blitz all the ingredients together in a blender and serve right away.
Notes:
- If you can’t find organic fruit, use a fruit and vegetable wash to remove any pesticide residues
- Stabilisers in yoghurt may be derived from wheat or gluten so check with the manufacturer
